"We are going to sing"

Well today is 26 on the 26th! My students were pretty good for me today (espcially being the 4th day of school). They even sang Happy Birthday to me under the direction of one of my most challenging student. After my birthday was shared over the announcements this morning she says "I want to sing to you! I'm going to count to three and we are all going to sing. 1...2...3..." and so they sang. Now, I'm not sure if you noticed or not but there was never any asking "can we sing to you?" it was "we are going to sing". Yes, one of my most challenging students :) Overall I had a great day with amazing friends and family wishing well wishes upon me all day long. Thank you all, I am truly blessed.
