3 Months!

Well I had this post started on my phone and I was adding to it throughout the month but I can't find it...SO...I hope I don't forget anything :)

  • Lydia and I have been dairy free for several weeks now and things are going MUCH better.  She is not crying, fussing, or spitting up as much.
  • She still hates her reflux medicine but we just recently figured out that if we mix it with less water it doesn't take as long to give it to her and she doesn't get quite as upset.
  • Lydia and I are already back in San Angelo and Daddy is back at work in Midland. :(
  • Lydia had several visitors this month.  We realized we were going to have to come back to Angelo sooner than we thought so we had a busy last weekend in Midland.  My cousin and her almost-3-year-old came for dinner and stayed to play, a good friend of mine and her almost-1-year-old came and spent the day playing, a former co-worker and Levi's brother all came within a few days.  It was great to see everyone.

  • She also got to visit two new little friends just after they were born.  A co-worker of Levi's and a co-worker of mine both had little girls this month bringing the total of babies born to our friends up to 9 (with two more on the way!).  There are lots of little friends for this girl to play with.
  • She is getting better about being out and about without fussing the whole time.

Her shirt says "Born to Shop"
  • We got the smiles and coos last month but this month she found her voice!  It is the sweetest funniest little voice I've ever heard!  She does most of her 'talking' just after she wakes up or when she's laying down getting her diaper changed.

  • Mommy went back to work this month so Lydia has been getting used to staying the days with her Nana (my mom) and her Nanie (Levi's mom).  It's been a bit of an adjustment for her but I think she will get used to it.
  • She still doesn't like tummy time and we still aren't pushing it :) but I know we need to get her used to it.
  • She got her first cold this month.  Poor baby girl is so stuffy in her nose it's hard for her to stay asleep so she's been spending the wee-est hours of the morning in bed with mommy propped up.
  • She has pretty much outgrown all of her newborn sized clothes....but alot of the 3 mo. size are still too big. :)
  • In just the past couple of days she has figured out how to roll from her back to her side.  She is also getting a little too mobile on the changing table for mommy's taste. :)

I'm sure there are very important things that I have forgotten and that makes me sad.

And yes, I know I said I would add more pictures to the last post when I got home but I forgot...and I'm not home anymore.  Sorry.
