Well another month has come and gone! I'm not sure how much time I have before Little Miss decides to wake up (as her naps are quite unpredictable these days) so you are getting a bulleted-in-no-sort-of-order update today.
- Towards the end of last month Lydia started rolling on to her side and just yesterday did she finally make it all the way over. She went from back to tummy several times yesterday and actually figured out tummy to back a couple of times but I it was more coincidence than anything.
- We've also got her laughing a couple of times. She will think something is so funny and then all of a sudden it's not funny any more. If you try to do it again later it usually still isn't funny anymore.
- She has started taking her paci again. She did really well with it at the hospital and when we first came home but then for some reason she just stopped taking it until one day she was upset and I mentioned that I sure wished she took a pacifier. Levi asked me if I had tried one lately and I hadn't so I stuck one in her mouth and guess what...it worked! We really only use it for nap time and occasionally bed time when she doesn't fall asleep nursing.
- She is getting really good about going out to the store and restaurants etc. She's starting to enjoy people watching I think :)
- We tried to drop her night time swaddle and that was no good. We tried it two nights in a row and I'm pretty sure we were up at least every two hours both nights. Now we swaddle at nights but not during the day for naps.
- She's started napping on her tummy. I'm pretty sure this has led to the semi-constant 2 hour afternoon naps. :)
- She's upped her eating a bit too. I thought we would never see a 6 oz feeding but we've seen a couple now. 4 ounces are the norm now. I'm a bit worried she's not eating enough but we will see what the doctor says when we go next week for her 4 mo. check up.
- Lydia finally got to meet her Auntie Barbie (Levi's sister, Barbara). Barbara came the week Lydia was due but had to leave before she actually graced us with her presence. I know there are pictures somewhere, on someones phone or camera, I just have to find them. She got to stay a week which was also the week Levi was off so there was lots of good family time going on.
- This week is Spring Break for me so Little Miss and I are hanging in Midland with Daddy. It's been nice having almost 2 full weeks as a family.
