- 6 month check up: May 14th, 25.5 inches long (50th percentile), 14 pounds 1 oz. (25th percentile), 16 1/8 inches in her head (10th percentile). Dr. A said she looks great and very healthy!
- Sitting up really well
- might be starting to clap and wave
- Up to 2 teeth!
- We started rice cereal at the beginning of this month. She's a natural at eating- takes after her father ;)
- We had our first Mother's Day! We had a great day filled with family and food but more importantly we had Lydia's Baby Dedication service at church. We had a lot of family that were able to be there and it even worked out that some of our closest friends (who are practically family anyway) got to be there too! It meant a lot to Levi and me to have everyone there to support us as we pledged to raise this precious gift in a loving and Christian home.
- We have dropped the swaddle at bed time now too. She seems to sleep really well without it and has even slept in some on the weekends.
- Lydia and Mama spent their first night apart this month! I had an interview in the Midland area and Lydia stayed at home with her Nana and Grandpa. Yikes, was that hard! Not so much to Lydia who had no problems but for Mama. By the way, that interview was not successful but the next one I had with Midland ISD was....I'll be teaching 1st grade at Crockett Elem next year!
Here are some random pictures from this month:
