7 months!

Well things have slowed down but yet are still strangely crazy with us right now. School has been wrapped up, my classroom packed up and and loaded into the back of Levi's truck, back of my Tahoe, and back of my in-laws suburban...yeah, who knew I had that much stuff?! We got all of Lydia's and my stuff backed up from my mom's house and headed out to Midland. More on that to come in a later post. Little Miss has done pretty well with her readjusting to a different place. We've gotten out and about several days since we've been there. Which is really saying something since you are risking your life every time you get on the roads in that crazy town!
Here are some Little Miss stats: She is ccompletely off of breastmilk. That just wasn't working out real well for us. She is now doing about 6-8 oz soy formula in the morning, 4-6 oz mid morning, 1/4 cup rice cereal and a half or so jar of veggies or fruit for lunch, another 4-6 oz bottle mid afternoon, another serving of same amounts of cereal and fruits/veggies and then usually a little 3 or 4 ouncer right before bed. She is still on the small side but we feed her when she's hungry and she stops when she's full so what more can we do?

She is on the move! She's really getting the crawling thing down. She's not super fast at it but she gets from A to B. she apparently doesn't think that makes her big enough because she has also started pulling up on stuff and just letting go like she's going to take off walking! Talk about being too big for her britches!

It is getting really hard to get non-blurry pictures of her face. This is what most of her pictures look like these days...

She is starting to actually play with her toys and be interested in them. There are several that just make her whole face light up.  She has also started fruits and veggies. So far she is NOT a fan of green beans or peas and I think she might be allergic to squash so we will try all of those again later. She does like carrots and sweet potatoes. The only fruits she has tried so far are apples, pears, and bananas and she loves them all. Things still have not slowed down enough for me to try making my own food for her but that is still on the agenda for this summer. Here is her first taste of veggies...green beans :)

We also found out this month that we definitely have a water baby!  She had her first swim and she LOVED it.  We've taken her several times since and she get more excited every time we go!

I have loved having the freedom to be super lazy with Little Miss all day or getting out and about with her...and of course we both LOVE having Papa home on the days he doesn't fly. On to the adventures of next month!  Here are a few more from this month...
